Portrait sessions, weddings or any event photographed by Big AL Studios are photographed and edited with an eye for detail, emotion, and artistry. We operate unobtrusively. We love to watch people. We'll give you subtle direction, but poses are never dictated. The satisfaction of capturing the moment as it happens is our reward. You'll forget we're there and then you'll wonder how we got that emotional moment when you thought no one was looking. You are beautiful inside and out and it comes through in the connections you have with the ones you love. We see it with our eyes and use our cameras to write your story. Don't worry if your mascara is running because you're crying, or your laugh lines show. These are authentic moments! You being you! That's what we want! It's why you hire us.

Once your session is complete, we will begin editing right away! Some of our favourites will be posted on our Facebook profile as soon as possible to share with the world! All of your images will be given extra special attention and loving care. Usually, a turn around time of about 8 weeks for all wedding sessions (4 weeks for shoots other than weddings!) is the norm. If you need rush service, please let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you!

Bridals and engagement sessions: Most wedding packages include AL and a second photographer and a 24x30 mounted portrait or collage for the wedding reception. Moreover, cost of booking up to one location for an Engagement shoot is included in all of our packages. Engagement shoots are to be scheduled at minimum of 6 weeks prior to your big day!

Family Photoshoots: Our team of photographers including myself, AL, strive to capture more than just how you look. Our goal is to tell a story... the story of your family. Who you are, right now, at this moment. Silly three year olds are allowed, in fact, encouraged to be silly! Moody teenagers are never asked to say cheese! Family portraiture has come a long way over the years and there is no one more excited about it than us. We are willing to come to your home with our portable studios to capture candid moments with your family, couple or pets to share the story of your family with you and world!
